In Black Shot, players enter into a world that is in chaos. Natural resources have become scarce. World order has fallen victim to larger countries, who invade smaller, defenseless countries using mercenary armies in order to secure the resources they need, such as oil, wood, natural minerals and other precious items.
This chaos creates the perfect opportunity for the world's mercenary forces to organize themselves into a strong and stable "Privatized Military Firm". The firm answers to no one save its member mercenaries. Countries hire the mercenary firm to do their bidding, such as create small local disputes or complications, or put down insurgencies. It is up to the players to fight the battles of the Privatized Military Firm.
Black Shot, which is currently in beta in Korea, is strictly an online game title for PCs. It is free to download and play once players register for an ID and password.
